My research interests focus on three domains:

  1. Collaborative governance and public-private partnerships. This research stream examines novel collaborative arrangements between public, private and not-for-profit organizations and actors. It focuses on the complexities of the collaborative design features and unpacks the dynamics of collaboration, theorizing the inter-level linkages between individual professionals’ behaviors, organizational characteristics and field level actions.
  2. Ambiguity in and around organizations. This research stream focuses on the manifestation of ambiguity in organizational processes and the consequences of the strategic uses of ambiguity for the relationship between public actors and external stakeholders
  3. Professions, novel technologies and institutional dynamics. This research stream explores the institutional dynamics around the development and implementation of novel technologies in the public sector, and their impact on professions and professional work.
